What I have learned this week was about heart of a samurai. We made it up to chapter 35. But, I learned something even more than heart of a samurai. I learned about greek gods. These greek gods are all descendants from Zeus and Aphrodite. The god I really learned about and was my specific god was Ares. Ares is the God of War. He is really into battle, fight, destruction, and terror. Then, I learned about all the other gods but not exactly learned mostly about, because I learned about Ares. All thr other gods had something to do with the greek mythology. They all had different tactics about life and also had different power and tranquility. They were all different in every way. But, the mother and father, Zeus and Aphrodite, they were the creators of the greek mythology and were the parents of all the gods. The only god that was not a child of zeus was Hades. He was the brother of Zeus and was evil inside. He was a soul keeper of the gods who died or killed. He kept their souls and was a very wealthy man with those souls.

This week, I learned about Ethos Pathos Logos. Basically ethos pathos logos means per sway someone to buy something, so anything that is advertising a product or something cost's money. That ethos pathos logos is for example I think that all the cereal brand do a really good job with ethos pathos logos because they put toys inside the box which all the children want so their parents are forced to buy it. For the needy kids. And sometimes they have different types of toys so the parents are forced to buy it and many many more for the children that need the money and so the people who work for the cereal company will get more money. And the process is reaped over and over all around the world because there are problems that a lot of children have for them to want the toy. School has been hard for me. I have a confession. I am being bullied. A person name John Hamson is abruptly, every day. He makes it coherent and logical. I am so scared of him. I am always in dread. I am always afraid he will physically abuse me, but I am scared. His intensity is overpowering me. He is making fun of me and is showing my deepest secrets keenly. I am covered in melancholy. His bullying, name calling, humiliation, and abuse is perpetual, but he is always pondering first before actually saying something rude to me. How can I stop this? He would lore me into his trap and then ruses me. I feel subordinate. His remarks are always surly to me and will never be nice. I always try to ask him to stop. I ask timidly and I am always scared. One day, I walked up to him and confronted him. He backed off and I took care of my problem.
There is a big difference between now, modern time of 2017, and Greek times. There are many differences that I would be happy to share to you.
1. We both have transportation, but modern day has cars while Greek has wagons and sort. 2. We in the modern day have electronics like apple, Samsung, google, etc. while Greek times don't have any sort of device besides their knowledge. 3. Our modern day times have electricity while the Greek times have torches. We still have torches today but hardly use them. 4. Our map today shows many, many continents while the Greek Map only shows a few. Those are the differences and e all know there are more. californiasciencenter.com
What I have learned this week was about science. This week, the 7th grade had a fieldtrip to the California science center. It was a great trip and was very exciting. The first thing we did was make our own roller coaster, and I don't mean piece to peace. We had 4 balls. They were plastic, ping pong ball, rubber, and wood. We had a track that was rubber and we were able to play around with. Then we had these stick like items, which I have forgot at the moment, to hold up the track. Those sticks were placed through the wall where there were holes to keep the sticks in. We had chosen the rubber ball to go along with our roller coaster. It was pretty neat. My team: Dominic, Sebastian, Kaylie, Katie, Mateo, and Mikayla. It was so fun because right after, when we made loops and sorts on our roller coaster, we put the ball from the top and watched it make its way to the bottom to finish its ride. It was so fun and I would love to do it again. localnew.com/topstory
Csun needs defensive focus. Reggie Theus knew the recipe his CSUN men’s basketball team needed to get a Big West Conference victory Saturday at Cal State Fullerton. The fourth-year head coach told his players it would take toughness, execution and rebounding. And one other thing lockdown defense.“At some point in the game, you have to make two or three stops in a row, and I thought in the second half that’s what I saw,” said Theus, whose team plays at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Long Beach State second-half points for a 70-65 victory the Matadors’ first on the road this season to open conference play 2-0. The times CSUN has played solid defense this season have been few and far between. The Matadors entered that game allowing a conference-high 84 points. Then they held the host Titans well below their average of 77 points. No doubt CSUN is talented offensively. The Matadors lead the Big West in scoring at 78 points per game. If they can play well defensively on a regular basis, that completes them. I don’t think there is any question that we can score,” Theus said. “And what I’ve been preaching to my guys I’ve been doing it all year, but even more so lately ‘If you’re going to compete for the Big West title, you have to be a very good defensive team.’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyorSPPGrCg
What we have learned in ELA class this week was rhyme and the types of rhyme. Rhyme is in rap, poem, and in songs. There are many types of rhymes. End rhyme, partial rhyme, complete rhyme, and more. There is so much that I like about rhyme because it is a topic in ELA which I enjoy. This is pretty cool because it shows the similarity in words and how they sound alike. I really enjoy it because I am alsoreally good at rhyming. I just have a gift which makes me rhyme anything I kind of want. We have been doing a lot of work for rhyming in class. There is fun, i just dont know, but there is fun and that is how I like it. A woman named Della and her husband Jim are very poor and they wanted to buy each other Christmas presents. But, they couldn't afford it because they were very poor. All they had was 1. 87 cents. Della had hair that was from a queen. She needed to buy something for Jim, so she sold her hair for 20 dollars in price. He needed to buy her something, since he had a watch that was passed on from his great grandpa, then grandpa, his father, and now him. HE sold it for an affordable price. He decided to buy her a hair brush, but he didn't know she sold her hair. She bought him another watch. So, it was Christmas Day and they gave each other their gifts, Della took off her hat and showed her lack of hair. HE found out, he bought the wrong present. He loved his watch, but she lived without her hair.

The Lakers left home and unexpectedly collected more chips than expected. Just before they returned home with their prize, they lost some of those extra earnings. The Lakers ended their three-game trip with a 125-99 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday at Target Center, providing some blemish to an otherwise successful three-game trip. After picking up road wins in Sacramento and New Orleans, the Lakers (6-5) dropped their final game for familiar reasons that surround this young team. At least we came out on top, I guess,” Lakers guard D’Angelo Russell said. “We could’ve won this game. It was definitely winnable.”Too bad the Lakers trudged off to a slow start yet again. They opened the first quarter trailing, 36-25. The Lakers had plenty of different defensive assignments that yielded no solution for Minnesota second-year forward Andrew Wiggins, who had a career-high 47 points while shooting 14 of 21 from the field and 17 of 22 from the free-throw line in 42 minutes. Lakers coach Luke Walton offered diplomacy when he observed Wiggins is “going to get hot because he’s in a rhythm from all the free throws he’s shooting.”Lakers forward Larry Nance Jr. provided sarcasm. He noted Wiggins’ foul shots, paused and said, “Good for him.”Russell provided mixed dismissiveness and praise.
